Censorship.

EXPLANATION:

Censorship is a subject I feel strongly about. It is my view that it inexorably leads towards various forms of tyranny. An interesting contribution can be read "here":[link] I find myself in noisy agreement with Marcus Ranum (who supplies some excellent stock on DA). I disagree with his rather extreme views regarding religion, but the larger portion of his essays I find compelling. In my experience (generally speaking) the worst offenders in this matter are those who never stop banging on about freedom, democracy and racism. It is a strange blindness that requires obedience and servility from others, whilst demanding total freedom for one's own utterances.

Of course, black and white positions rarely hold (though they sometimes do). Life is rarely as simple as that. Few decent people would not oppose the “right” of paedophiles to express their views, or portray their acts in film or any other art form. This is not a strictly logical position, but ( pace Mr Spock) society cannot always be run on logical grounds. My own position is that censorship (particularly of art works) should be used as rarely as possible, and should never be treated as an excuse for a particular authority's opinions. Marcus Ranum deals specifically with that nonsense word, “ornography”...an utterly meaningless word...and demonstrates what everyone should know: that it has no place in logical thought. It has a use, however( an evil one ), and that is simply to control others, which is what this image of mine is trying to express.

I shall not explain the symbolism in detail..anyone who is kind enough to look can work it out for themselves, I'm sure; I will just point out that the large tattoo on the model's belly is the symbol of the 5th SS Panzer Division Wiking , to which the notorious Josef Mengele was attached at one time.
